If you encounter the message “Your account does not currently meet the eligibility requirements to access the Product Advertising API. (AssociateNotEligible)”, it means your Amazon Associates account does not meet Amazon’s minimum performance requirements for PA-API access.
To unlock the Product Advertising API, your account must generate at least three qualifying sales within Amazon’s required time window.
Until those sales occur, any plugin that relies on PA-API—such as Rinker, WP Associate Post R2, or Amazon Link Builder—will fail to load product data or images.
Once the three qualifying sales are recorded, PA-API access is automatically restored and product lookups start working again.
