I noticed again today that restarting my PC makes my mind feel lighter.
It’s not just psychological—it’s basically a reset of all the background tasks in my head.
When working for long periods, things pile up:
- unfinished tasks lingering in memory
- context switching between projects
- decision fatigue from “What should I do next?”
A restart interrupts all of these at once and refreshes my working memory.
That’s why decisions feel easier afterward.
For me, restarting the PC works almost like a small mental garbage collection.
